Iglal M. El-Henawi, M.D. is a board-certified, general practice Internal Medicine physician with a focus on Family Health and Geriatric Health in Hemet, CA. She is highly experienced in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Hematopathology, General Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Pediatrics, and in training other physicians. Dr. El-Henawi can be found at her private practice in Hemet as well as two other locations, and is affiliated with Hemet Global Medical Center.

With over 56 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. El-Henawi offers comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages, with a special focus on seniors. In some cases, she may provide lifelong care, from childhood through the final years of adulthood. As a Pathologist, she participates in researching, studying, diagnosing and treating a wide range of diseases and disorders. As a Hematologist, she is an expert in diagnosing and treating patients suffering from all types of blood and blood-borne disorders. These may include conditions such as bleeding & clotting disorders, hematologic malignancies, enlarged lymph nodes or anemia. She also creates specialized treatment plans and educates patients on their specific conditions.

A very compassionate and relatable doctor, Dr. El-Henawi is happy to communicate with her patients in English, Spanish, and Arabic. She has been providing care for the greater Hemet community for many years, including for Veterans at the VA Medical Centers.
